Project case study / Publishing
Blog Website
A full-stack publishing application connecting authors, administrators, and readers.
01 / Context
The problem
Publishing content involves more than displaying articles. Authors need a way to manage posts, while readers need a straightforward reading and commenting experience.
02 / Contribution
What I built
Implemented user authentication, password hashing, an admin workflow for managing posts, and a responsive reader experience with comments.
03 / Structure
How it fits together
The HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interface connects to Flask routes. Database-backed records support users, posts, and comments, while authentication controls access to account features.
04 / Engineering focus
The important boundary
Public reading and privileged content management have different requirements. Keeping those workflows separate makes permissions and user journeys easier to reason about.
05 / Further development
What I would improve next
Add automated coverage for authentication and post permissions, pagination for larger collections, and clearer validation for failed submissions.
